Open air theatre cardiff

Open Air Theatre Wed 25 July - Sat 4 August 2008

The popular summer productions by the Everyman theatre company continue in 2008 with 'The Taming of the Shrew' by Mr William Shakespeare. The open air theatre at St. Fagans museum is a delightful venue on a summer evening and the audience (if not the actors) are covered in the event of inclement weather. See if you can spot the museums cat which likes to take a leisurely stroll over the stage in mid-act.

Peint o Brains os gwelwch yn dda

Welsh National Eisteddfod August 2 - 9 2008

A festival of literature, music and poetry - all of it in the medium of Welsh, the National Eisteddfod ventures south to the capital this year. This isn't the one with the African folk dancers and Russian choirs, it's the one with all the characters in white and the big chair. Great fun as long as you siarad cymraeg.
