St Fagans As well as the grown up stuff like the museum and reconstructed buildings, St Fagans also has a genuine piggery where you can see little porkers like this chap. The Celtic village is great fun for kids There is also a duck pond and see if you can spot the cat in the old watermill. You can also take a ride on a horse and cart but it doesn't run alll the time. |

Doctor Who Exhibition If you didn't know already, Dr Who is filmed extensively in and around Cardiff and there's a great exhibition featuring props, costumes and sets from the series at the Red Dragon Centre down in Cardiff Bay. Don't miss the chance to meet K9 and the Daleks. Make sure you take your piggy bank too as there's also a shop selling the full range of Dr Who goodies! Task Force Paintball Take the A48 west and turn off just after Cowbridge to find Taskforce paintball. If your little angels are 11 or older, they can go on one of the 'young guns' sessions and shoot paint at each other to their hearts content. Large woodland site with trenches, bunkers and a helicopter to hide in. Sessions for kids are arranged on weekends and school holidays. Charge to play and free parking. |

Gelynis Farm - Maize Maze Pick your own fruit and try the orienteering maize maze - open during the summer holidays, the kids get a map and have to look for clues around the farm. 11am to 5pm. Also pumpkin carving sessions in October or hire a bike and try out the Taff trail. In Morganstown near Radyr. |
